Kindergarten
The primary goal is to develop essential skills for early learners and to establish a strong base for their future endeavours. A play-based method of teaching and learning encompasses the basics of languages (English, Hindi/Tamil), arts, mathematics, social sciences, science, computer literacy, music and physical education.
Primary
Students in the 21st Century are faced with the challenge of learning about an interconnected world where knowledge is constantly developing. Recognising that knowledge is not static, the programme is based on a concept-driven, inquiry-based curriculum framework.
Important features of this framework are the explicit teaching of skills, the development of personal attitudes and student engagement in self-initiated, responsible action. A play-based method of teaching encompasses the basics of languages (English, Hindi/Tamil), arts, mathematics, social sciences, science, computer literacy, music and physical education.
Middle School
Continuing with the spirit of structured inquiry from primary and kindergarten and following the mission of CBSE, the middle years provide a framework of academic challenge that encourages students to embrace and understand the connections between traditional subjects and the real world and become critical and reflective thinkers.
The focus at this stage turns to guiding students to become powerfully literate, well-rounded academically, and responsible first to themselves, then to the local community, and finally to the global community. In addition to the core subjects of mathematics, English, science, and humanities, students have the opportunity to learn Tamil/French/Hindi, performing arts/visual ats and physical education.
